To calculate the duration of leave, age counts: 3 days for those over 36 years old, 2 days for those aged 25-35 and only one for those under 25 years old…
The employee must provide a document attesting to having broken up during the last 30 days and respect a notice period of 48 hours before being absent. Please also note that this leave can only be taken once a year. “She runs, she runs, love sickness” said the singer.

In France, no “broken heart” leave but depressive disorders can be the subject of sick leave.
For the employer, the mental health of its employees is a prerogative. Also, understanding and support can facilitate a peaceful return to work.
