Henri Guyot

Henri Guyot

In France, it is said that a team always needs someone from the Auvergne, and in the case of ærige this is Henri, who joined the firm (formerly brl avocats) when he arrived in Paris. He started as an intern while preparing his Master’s, before becoming an associate, and then a partner in 2018.

While writing his thesis on workplace dispute prevention under the supervision of Professor Bernard Teyssié, Henri began his specialisation in labour-management dialogue, and has since developed considerable expertise in the management of employee representative bodies and relations with trade unions.
His pragmatic approach to law enables him to make labour-management dialogue a source of opportunities and the law a means of leverage.

He is an amateur photographer, and his humanistic approach to this hobby is a natural extension of his approach to labour-management relations. In the same way as in negotiations, Henri is always looking for the decisive “moment”.

Jean d’Aleman

Jean d’Aleman

After graduating from university with a specialised degree in employment law, Jean decided to start his career working in-house. He spent five years in the human resources division of the PSA Group, where he developed his flair for dialogue and forged his convictions. He then spent a further five years at Barthélémy, where he honed his skills as a lawyer, before joining ærige (formerly brl avocats) as a partner in 2006. Jean now advises major groups. His vision and negotiating skills are much in demand from clients, for whom he resolves the most critical cases. He also has a genuine appetite for high-stakes litigation, in particular the defence of companies and executives who are facing criminal proceedings. Outside of the firm, Jean enjoys spending time with his five children and in his native Basque Country, which gives him renewed inspiration for advising and assisting his clients.

His five children and the Basque Country, where he is originally from, allow him to recharge and put his energy into serving his clients.
